Once again today chaos ensued as the top bend of The Gibraltar Frontier Queue turned into five lanes instead of six. I cannot imagine that anyone who has cause to suffer the queue has not become embroiled in the frustrations that stem from this ridiculous situation.
If through no fault of your own you are unfortunate enough to be caught in the middle of things it will add who knows how much unwarranted time to your journey as you get stuck and completley unable to move. I am sure I am not alone in finding this situation extremely frustrating especially when you think the problem would be so easily rectified if the lanes were clearly demarcated with traffic cones. Today as I finally got to the front of the queue I told the police officer that it was a mess again on the top bend he told me "It will have to sort itself out", his reply has spurred me on to start this petition. Its fair to say that most days the Frontier queue is frustrating enough for all if us without this added palava . I am therefore petitioning The Honourable Minister for Transport Paul J Balban for the installation of traffic cones for the clear demarcation of lanes on the approach to and around the top bend of the Gibraltar Frontier Queue.
