Recently the Hempstead Board of Education illegally placed Superintendent Dr. Shimon Waronker on administrative leave, removing him from the ability to work in the district & that effects everyone! Nassau County residents and State tax payers alike. No exceptions!
All children in Hempstead and tax payers in New York State deserve justice and honesty in government.
Dr. Waronker is an extraordinary leader and esteemed educator who was willing to expose those responsible for the destructive patterns in Hempsteads schools. He was willing to uncover the corruption that has oppressed Hempstead Students and tax payers at large for far too long.
'Superintendent Shimon Waronker, in an extraordinary "open letter", appealed directly to residents for support in his drive to overhaul the 8,000-student system — the largest serving kindergartners through 12th-graders in Nassau County.' As reported in Newsday
Let's stand in solidarity with him in the name of Educational and Racial JUSTICE and demand he be returned and allowed to work so he can continue the work in bringing quality education once and for all to the Hempstead School district.
