First of all, recent update on the toxins in our water have shown that it is over health guidelines but not legal guidelines. It should be illegal, so just because you make an announcment that our water is beyond unhealthy doesn't mean it is ok to continue NOT doing anything about it!!! Not to mention I have just tested the water that comes out of my faucet and bathtub and the bleach content is well above risk. The pH level is enough to cause harm to any living thing, including animals plants and humans.
There is no reason that the tax money we pay should go to unneeded roadwork and sidewalk updates versus the water we are drinking bathing and using. The graph analysis of the toxins in our water are proven to cause cancer and various other illnesses, AND DID I MENTION THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS NOW!!
I am starting this petition to help direct our tax money to improve our drinking water by 100%. There is no excuse for our money to be going to other things when people are dying and being diagnosed with horrible things due to our water content!! We pay hundreds of dollars each month for water that is toxic. The people's only other option is to set up a water purification system in their home which is completely un-affordable and unnecessary when The City of Great Falls can fix it.
Our city is being run by the wrong people and I do not trust what they are doing with our tax money. They are responsible for for this and it should be their Number One priority! I will not stop in my journey to make the people aware of this problem. Lawsuit is not the goal -- fixing the water content is!!
