Thank India for Banning Animal Testing for Cosmetics

  • por: Animal Advocates

India has become the first country in South Asia to end cosmetics cruelty. The removal of animal tests for cosmetics standards has been approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards- replacing invasive tests on animals with mandatory, modern non-animal alternative tests.

Unfortunately, many countries still subject animals to unnecessary proceedures which include; dripping substances into their eyes, smearing cosmetics onto their abraded skin, spraying in their faces and forcing substances down their throats. This unnecessary, painfully cruel and invasive testing for cosmetics does not always yeild accurate and reliable results because of the vast anatomical differences between humans and test animals.

Thank The Minisry of Health in the Government of India for banning tests performed on animals for cosmetic standands, and ending cosmetic cruelty to animals.
