Everyone creating an account at care2 is required to specify a gender. The options? "Male" and "Female."
Everyone signing a petition at care2 is required to choose a "prefix." The options? "Mr.", "Ms.", "Mrs.", and "Dr."
Both of these design features discriminate against those who consider themselves neither male nor female. We call on care2 to make the "gender" and "prefix" fields optional and to add gender-neutral options: "neither" for gender, and "Mx." for prefix.

This petition concerns the design of your website. We, the undersigned, would like you to add options to make it more inclusive toward those who don't fall into the two standard gender categories. As your site is currently designed, everyone is forced to specify a gender, and can only choose from the standard two options, unless they want to go with "Doctor."
