Education of Millions of Children under COVID threat. Help us get them solar powered radios.

At a time of year when children are usually back to school, the COVID-19 pandemic has created a new reality where many children will go online for their classes.

But in Sub-Saharan Africa, over 80 percent of children in do not have home computers or access to the internet. In the most vulnerable places, there is no electricity. In poor countries, many children are sheltering at home but without any access to their schools or teachers.

If we don't act now, the education of a whole generation is at peril.

In response, many schools and national channels are broadcasting lessons by radio. To make sure every child can access the broadcasts, our teams are distributing solar-powered radios to children in under-developed countries such as Ethiopia and Senegal. But we can't do it without your help.

We urgently need all the support we can get to deliver as many solar radios to children as possible.
