Police officer and wife who aided wounded fawn face jail, fines if convicted of illegally possessing

Connersville Indiana. Officer Jeff Counceller, & wife Jennifer, a registered nurse, rescued a fawn from an agonizing death. Now, two years, in short, the deer doesn't want to leave the family. I believe the Governor should have this case thrown out of court. They are just wasting tax dollars we don't have on a successful rescue mission. Shame on you DNR! You are supposed to be heroes not bullies.
