Our next First Minister needs to make dementia a priority in Wales

Wales has the lowest dementia diagnosis rate of any UK nation, meaning that almost half of those living with dementia in Wales remain in the dark about their condition. 

Without a diagnosis people don't have access to the support they need and are prevented from accessing treatments which could improve their lives. This needs to change.

With the contest for a new Welsh Labour Leader in full swing, help ensure that whoever the next First Minister is, views dementia as a priority for their Government and transforms the lives of people living with dementia in Wales.
