Stop U.S. Border Patrol Abuse!

The behavior practiced by the U.S. border patrol would be considered torture under international law. There have been countless reports from people who have experienced abuse and discrimination from border patrol agents but there is absolutely no one stepping up and taking responsibility for these abusive patterns.

The accounts of abuse that have been documented are not isolated cases or exceptions to a rule. Rather they are part of a large culture of abuse that the border patrol seems to adhere to.

There are many accounts of adults and children being beaten, denied sleep, and forced into enduring cruel and unusual humiliation. And that isn't even the half of it.

The lack of compassion by the U.S Border Patrol is distasteful and their actions are downright revolting. These practices must be put to rest immediately. Urge President Obama to put an end to this disregard for humanity.
Dear President Obama,

The U.S. Border Patrol is currently in a state of crisis. There have been numerous reported accounts of abuse and torture and no one is taking responsibility for this. The acts of the U.S. Border Patrol agents are inhumane and must be stopped as soon as possible.

There are people who need medical treatment for life threatening diseases who are crudely being denied it and women and children who are being forced into psychological abuse and subject to humiliation. These types of practices cannot be considered anything but inexcusable.

Drastic action must be taken to change the system that the border control operates under. I urge you to take a serious look at the U.S. Border Patrol and take immediate action to implement changes.
