Petition Target: President George Bush
We, the undersigned, implore you to cease the Afghan aerial bombardment immediately. Afghanistan is a nation of rubble and poverty. There are NO "high value" targets that you can reach from the air. The only thing that you are able to accomplish is to injure innocent people, and to make a spectacle for the news networks to show to the American people.
Instead, we the undersigned, respectfully beseech you to cease the bombardment immediately and send in strategic special forces. Use our satellites to locate Osama Bin Laden, send in troops to specifically target Bin Laden, and not the Afghan people.
Bombardment will only turn a nation, already in rubble from years of civil war, into a nation of more innocent dead. Find your enemies. Target your enemies, attack your enemies. Do not bomb the nation, because you will only attack the innocent.
