2003 marks the 30th anniversary of the Supreme Court's landmark Roe v. Wade decision that recognized a woman's constitutional right to make her own, private, decision about whether or when to bear a child. Will this be the last year we celebrate this anniversary? With the Bush Administration launching an all-out assault on women's reproductive rights, it very well may be.

Electing more pro-choice Democratic women to office is one of the solutions to stopping President Bush's anti-choice agenda. With the right to choose under attack by anti-choice Republicans, pro-choice Democrats in Congress and in the states are the front line of defense in stopping legislation aimed at restricting, or maybe even banning, a woman's right to choose. Make the pledge today to help elect more pro-choice Democratic women to office!

EMILY's List supports pro-choice Democratic women candidates running for office by identifying and backing candidates, training campaign staff, and mobilizing women to vote.
