Someone hated Hero the dog so much they gouged his eyes out. The poor pooch was found wandering the streets of Albania before he was finally helped by animal rescuers.
The eight-year-old was found in horrible shape, including suffering from a serious infection where his eyes used to be. Luckily he was taken in and given treatment but still more needs to be done.
What did Hero the dog do to deserve this? Despite the terrible treatment he has endured, Hero is still willing to give humans a chance.
But for the person who did this to Hero, he shouldn't get a second chance to hurt another dog. Hero didn't deserve the treatment he received from some cruel person and whoever did this horrific act should be held accountable.
Albania should take action to work to find this dog abuser and put them behind bars.
Please sign the petition and ask Minister of Justice, Etilda Gjonaj to ensure that Hero's case is taken seriously and his abusers are caught.
