Election day is less than two weeks away.
We've seen firsthand just how far Republicans will go to protect Trump from any efforts to hold him accountable. Their blatant efforts to erode our democracy -- from undermining the rule of law to ignoring Trump's attacks on the free press -- are shameful and dangerous. We must put a stop to it.
For months, we've been saying that Trump's behavior and actions are not normal -- but it's not enough to call him out and then call it day. Now is the time to act -- not in 2020, but right now.
What we do in these crucial next few days will determine whether Democrats win in November and save our democracy. There are many courageous Democratic candidates who are ready to usher in a new wave of leadership and hold Trump and Republicans accountable, but they need our support to win and they need it now.
