Extend the Homebirth Program to all hospitals across the state, so that pregnant Mums can have a CHO

In Victoria, two Homebirth Pilot Studies have taken place at Sunshine and Casey Hospitals. These pilot studies have been successful and are now instituted at these hospitals, so that pregnant women in the catchment areas, can choose where to give birth. At home with support or in Hospital with support. This choice needs to be extended to all Hospitals across State. Next June, Private midwives in Victoria will no longer be able to practise legally due to Insurance premiums being unaffordable, and the Victorian Govt not supporting these midwives. Then the Mums to be in Victoria are to be left with no CHOICE.
