Seniors Shouldn't Struggle to Make Rent

Over 10 million senior households struggle to meet basic needs and may not be able to afford their rent or utilities. One out of every three seniors is living below or near the poverty line. Nearly 9 million older Americans are at risk of hunger.

Chances are you already know a senior in need. The woman down the street, the man at your church or temple, someone in your own family - these are people in your community.

AARP Foundation is tackling tackling the problems of senior poverty to address the urgent needs of vulnerable, low-income seniors who struggle to meet their basic needs every day. In order to succeed, we need caring people like you to stand with us in support of seniors in need.
