Oppose Trump's border wall
President Trump is demanding funding for a monstrous border wall that would unfairly target and disrupt border communities, endanger immigrant families, waste taxpayer money, and cause environmental damage.
Congress is moving to finalize the 2019 budget and it's critical that funding for the border wall is NOT included. This is our hard-earned money, they will listen to us if we speak out now. Tell Congress do NOT pass a budget that includes ANY funding for Trump's xenophobic, wasteful, and environmentally destructive wall!
Dear Member of Congress,
Funding for Trump's racist and environmentally damaging border wall has no place in the 2019 spending bills. Border communities and wildlife, including 110 endangered species, would be irrevocably threatened by a wall that separates them from their communities and habitat. And the wall would be built through rivers and waterways which provide critical supplies of water to local communities and ecosystems.
We must promote policies of inclusion, safety, and security, not hate and bigotry, in our immigration and border policies. As your constituent, I urge you to vote against any bill that appropriates funds to the construction of an environmentally destructive wall on the southern border with Mexico.
