Speak out for sea turtles, lynx, and whooping cranes

Sea turtles, lynx, whooping cranes, and countless other species depend on healthy habitat across our nation's public lands and waters. But this habitat has been degraded and fragmented in recent years.
The Legacy Restoration Fund—crucial funding legislation to ensure our wildlife refuges, forests, and national parks are restored and healthy—expired months ago, but Congress still hasn't acted to restore this program. If Congress doesn't vote YES to reinstate it soon, crucial support for wildlife and the wild places they call home will be lost.
Over 800 million acres of wildlife refuge lands and waters that so many threatened and endangered species depend on for survival—have been chronically under-supported for decades. Every state in our nation has national park land, national forest land, and/or wildlife refuges within its borders or off its coasts. Please speak out for America's national parks, forests, and wildlife refuges.
Send a message now to your senators and your representative in Congress, telling them you're counting on them to vote YES on more funding for wildlife and the lands and waters they call home.
Dear [send:full_name]
I care about wildlife that live in our national parks, forests, and refuges. I am counting on you to vote YES on the Legacy Restoration Fund proposal to extend funding for these critical areas.
Sea turtles, lynx, whooping cranes, and countless other species depend on healthy habitat across our nation's public lands and waters. But that habitat has been degraded and fragmented in recent years. Please vote for this crucial funding legislation [H.R. 9250/ S.1547] to ensure our wildlife refuges, forests, and national parks are restored and healthy. Thank you.
