KEEP HIDDEN POND THE WAY IT IS!
Keep the FCPA from eliminating two of its long standing hard workers positions. For years Hidden Pond has thrived under the current staff, with great fun programs, Birthday Parties Field Trips and more for kids, with regular patrons that return time after time. A thriving volunteer program, Hidden Pond's workers are more then capable of continuing to run smoothly and keep increasing its success.
The FCPA wants to give Hidden Oaks managment of both parks.
Fact: Hidden Pond runs the most summer camps in the district
Fact: Most of the camps at Hidden Pond fill to 90% capacity
Fact: Hidden Pond is meeting projected revenue numbers.
So, why should a site that is producing be cut yet again, when other sites with more staff aren't?
Our cuts are the only ones this severere, they have not cut every site.

Dear Recipient,
This petition is full of Hidden Pond Lovers, that would like to keep the nature center the way it is. Changing the management of Hidden Pond would change the heart and its atmosphere, which is one of the reasons the volunteer program and the patrons return time after time. There is a sense of family and friendship, I think anyone who has visited the nature center would agree along with these signers.
