Coles and Woolworths continued support of foreign owned and made has been a disasterous experiment which has caused enormous damage to Australian industry.
Foreign owned and made sends profits and jobs overseas creating unemployment in Australia.Many foreign owned companies use a mixture of imported and Australian ingredients and call it( Made in Australia from local and imported ingredients).Even when Australians purchase a product that is made in Australia by a company that is foreign owned it has little economic value to Australia as only a small percentage of the profits stay in Australia to pay their workers as the majority of income leaves Australia heading to their overseas headquarters and shareholders.
Buying foreign owned and made only increases the foreign debt of Australia and destroys Aussie jobs. It also destroys our food production capacity creating dependence on foreign companies to feed our population.This is a direct threat to the security of Australia.
100% Australian owned companies benefit Australia by keeping profits and jobs in Australia.These companies contribute to employment by sourcing Australian product which has a flow on effect throughout the economy.These companies have their headquarters and shareholders located in Australia.
When Australians purchase a product that is 100% made in Australia from a company that is 100% Australian owned employment is increased throughout Australia and the profits are reinvested in Australia creating expansion and then further employment for Australians.
Buying 100% Australian owned and made will reduce foreign debt and eventually eliminate it completely.This means a debt free country with debt free citizens.
Coles and Woolworths must stop supporting foreign owned and made which may be better for their shareholders profits for a short time, but in the end will lead to total destruction of Australian industries through unemployment and then enormous poverty.
We the undersigned demand Coles and Woolworths completely remove all foreign owned and made on their shelves which contributes to unemployment for Australians.
We want Coles and Woolworths to support a whole product range that is 100% Australian made/grown from companies that are 100% Australian owned.This will contribute to employment and save Aussie jobs.
Coles and Woolworths must enact this or our loyalty to your stores will unfortunately end. We will shop with other retailers that will support 100% Aussie owned and made which supports Aussie jobs.

We believe it is unaccountable on your behalf to be supporting companies which will destroy our nations industries leaving Australia in a state of peril and dependence.
The actions of supporting foreign owned and made will cause farm foreclosures which will flow throughout the production chain resulting in Australia going bankrupt.This will also cause your company to eventually suffer the same fate as groceries will be unaffordable because the markup needed to survive will not be able to be added as consumers will have extremely tight budgets and the money they spend will not be enough to keep your stores fully functional.Your company could be at the mercy of large multinational companies which could have monopolies on imports into Australia and they could charge enormous prices to supply your company.
To have this happen would be total disaster to Australia and your company as profits would diminish and shareholders would abandon the company.
We believe the conduct of supporting foreign owned and made must be abolished to be replaced with 100% Australian owned and made which will support employment and the nations economy,then create stability and certain survival for your company.The country can not afford large employers like your company to go broke if this happens their will be no rebuilding the company as it would cost billions and the money needed would not be available to do it.
To abolish foreign owned and made will have the backing of Australian consumers as Australians are sick to death of trying to find Australian companies and product amongst the imported product which is sometimes seen as dangerous.I believe the amount of customers who will come back because of abolishing foreign owned and made would be enormous as i believe you have underestimated the amount of customers who would buy Australian if it was stocked on your shelves.These customers could be shopping with other companies who supply a greater range of Australian choice. The amount of customers avoiding your company because of foreign owned and made would be unknown.
