Petition to keep Paul Aujla in Canada
- av: Marlo Fieldt
- mottagare: To assist Paul Aujla in aquiring the proper status to remain in Canada.
On Saturday May 9th 2009 after 19 years of living in Canada, My husband Paul Aujla was arrested by Immigration Canada and told that he was here illegally. At the court hearing he was told that his sponsorship had been cancelled and all applications were them denied. According to them we have been hiding him out for the last 10 years. We have been married for 15 years and we have 6 amazing children. He has a Drivers Licence a Social Insurance Number a Health card and files his taxes every year. He has not been in hiding. We have now been given 2 weeks to file the necessary paper work to keep him from being deported. This petition is to let Immigration Canada know just how damaging it would be to deport Paul . He is the mainfinancial provider for myself and our 6 children. He is kind, friendly and loving. He has up untill now never been arrested or involved in any illegal actions. He is not a threat to society. To seperate our family would not only be traumatic but would cause long term damage to both of us and our children. We have not done anything wrong, we never recieved any information regarding his lack of status or we would have acted on it and we are not trying to break the law. We are now just trying to keep our family together. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and Thank you for signing our petition.
We the undersigned, here by affirm that it would be in the best interest of all involved that Paul Aujla be granted the proper status to remain here in Canada with his wife and 6 children, whom are all Canadian citizens.
