Protect Workers' Rights - Intimidation Is Not OK!

The economic recession has taken a huge toll on the working and middle class; the backbone of our country is struggling against stagnant wages, longer work hours, higher health care costs and disappearing retirement plans.

Working people have it hard enough without having to face inflexible, anti-union employers. According to a recent study called "No Holds Barred: The Intensification of Employer Opposition to Organizing,"
- 63 percent of employers interrogated workers one-on-one with their supervisors about support for the union.
-54 percent threatened workers in such meetings.
- 47 percent threatened to cut wages and benefits.
- 34 percent fired workers.

As employers take a more aggressive anti-union stance, we need to fight for worker's rights and stop employee intimidation. Our laws need to empower workers to negotiate for better wages and healthcare -- not favor already over-compensated CEOs!

Act now and urge your members of Congress to fight for worker's rights.
