The vehicle code that %u2020governs %u2020animal ambulance units %u2020was written in 1962 . It states %u2020that %u2020animal ambulance units %u2020have %u2020to have %u2020AMBER warning lights. When we %u2020used AMBER warning lights motorist %u2020didn't%u2020slow down.%u2020Many%u2020of our nurses were almost hit and could have been killed. This is the same reason Caltrans installed %u2020RED lights on their two trucks. We simply do not want to have %u2020to %u2020die to help save a pets life.
