ALLOW PAYMENT PLANS FOR EMERGENCYS

The purpose of this petition is to get these clinics to accept payment plans for emergency vet care. This is my story: On 8-18-09 at approx. 7am I woke up to find my kitten "peekachew" laying on my bathroom floor in a puddle of her own blood, alive but not moving. I quickly got dressed and rushed around my city to the animal hospitals only to find none were open for another hour, I begin driving around the city next to mine, and again no help. Those that were open had no "vets" there to help her and apparently the people who were there could do noithing. Finally finding a place in ann arbor called the Animal Emergency Clinic, i rushed her in. They took her straight back. A couple of minutes later they came out and told me that she had suffered massive head trama (or it appeared to them), the were not sure if she would make it, or if she did if she'd ever be normal again. Then they dropped the money bomb. They said the only way they would treat her is if i had a min. of nearly $800 cash right then, other wise they wouldnt help her. I of course am just an average person, who only makes about $800 in an entire month, and had noithing even close to this on hand, or even saved up for that matter. So the only other option they gave me was to euthanize her. Regretfully that was what I had to do, because they wouldnt help her!  Therefore I gave them the only cash i had that was my living money for eating, and gas to and from work, just so they could at least get her out of the pain and state of shock that she so obviously was in. (and I still didnt even save my kiitten.) 
         This picture is of my kitten "peekachew" she was only about 12 weeks old at the most. She was the sweetest kitten ive ever come across. She wanted to live, she fought to stay alive for over an hour while we drove from vet to vet. She didnt deserve this outcome, when she so desperatly hung on to her life.
         It was always my belief that people open up, as well as work at  these clinics, and hospitals to do there best to save the lives of our beloved pets. But as it turns out they are just there to make every buck they can off us and our suffering pets. I hope I never have to go through this again, and I wouldnt wish this on anyone or any animal!! Please sign this petition in hopes that at least this one clinic can revert to payment plans for at the least emergency care. If you wish to do more then just sign this petition, send them a fax (734-971-1783). Ive been searching for an email address for them but have been unsuccessful. So this petition was the next best thing i could think of. Please dont hesitate to pass this along to everyone you know to sign. Thanks To Everyone!!
  I also would like to add that I even offered to pay when I came back to pick her up, I would have also been willing to surrender her just so she could live....I would have done anything in my power to see that she got the fair chance at life she so deserved and fought so hard for.
