Alfonso Cuarón to direct the next Star Trek

In this petition we ask Star Trek producers to contemplate the possibility of the acclaimed director Alfonso Cuarón (Children of Men, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Y tu mamá también) to helm the next installment.

We the undersigned are pleading to consider Alfonso Cuarón to direct the next installment of Star Trek. We believe he has the talent and vision to bring the sense of wonder, storytelling and ideals to perpetuate and extend the brilliance of Mr. Abrams and Bad Robot work into new territories.
