Eliminate Credit Checks for Employment

Why is there so much unemployment?  Part of the reason is that people are being denied employment because of poor credit.  Why poor credit?  People cannot get a job.  There may be a multitude of reasons for poor credit, but this does not make a bad worker.  This does not mean that the person is a thief, irresponsible, or incapable.  In fact, people who have jobs may have poor credit.  For example, you have nothing but retail or financial job experience.  Something horrible happens, and you are finding it hard to pay your bills and may fall behind.  Then, an unexpected job loss.  Good luck getting hired, because that rough period in life with bad credit will cost you.  It can cost you a new job.  This can happen with many different occupations.  All of the experience in the world and all that you know how to do can keep you from a new job.  It is just not right!

Our own country is in debt.  Huge corporations are in debt.  Yet, they are getting help.  This is clearly discrimination.  And, they are being treated like second-class citizens.  How will the economy improve when so many people are out of work?  Why does a person feel a worker with good credit is a better worker than someone with bad credit?  Why are they considered less of a risk?  We need jobs to PAY our debts.  When you read this, please sign.  And, please send this off to someone who cares.  Thank you.
