Help Stop Mandatory Overtime In Texas

For years and years the workweek has been known to be 8 hours a day 5 days a week. There are too many things going on in our lives right now. Too many things that we need to get done in a day. Forcing employees to work mandatory hours of overtime tires the person, ruins families, and makes an unhappy worker who will not perform to all their ability. We need to keep our jobs, and many jobs we can only find now always have mandatory overtime. Being a student it makes it hard to juggle school and family when we're away living a second life at work. I know many people who have had to change career choices in school, or drop classes or drop out all together because they couldn't keep on top of school. Many of us are struggling to help our families and make a better life. Extra money does help, but when it is forced upon us it changes our lives completely. Help us make a difference.
