Insensitive/Flawed Coin Design
The coin design of the Rupees Two coin - two coin issues in the year 2007 and 2005 - is highly insensitive and flawed. Visually challenged people are totally unable to differentiate between a smooth circular Rupee One coin and a very similar Rupees Two coin. This difficulty is faced to great extent by people with good vision too.
It definitely makes sense to withdraw this troublesome batch of coins and re-introduce the older version of the Rupees Two coin OR better still design a new one with a improved tactile feel that could be distinguished easily. This would immensely help visually challenged people.
