Laws governing compensation for flate rate techs

We as flate rate techs are forced to work over 40 hours a week with no guarantee we will even make an hour. This must change! I say if we work and clock 40 hours we should be guaranteed 30 And if we work over 45 clocked hours we should be guaranteed 40. To many owners are requiring us to work sometimes 7 days a week with no worry, they dont make money if we dont so they want us there around the clock.  Make the employers accountable for the time we are forced to be there!
