Obama: Step Up Review of Endangered Species Listings

The Obama administration has reviewed and protected species under the Endangered Species Act at a slower rate than any recent President.  Tell the Obama administration to step up the review process and protect more species.

The Endangered Species Act has saved many species from extinction, and there are many species that still need this protection.  There is no way to protect an extinct species, and 24 species have gone extinct while awaiting protection under the Endangered Species Act.  Stop this from happening again protect the species that need protection.

We the undersigned request that the review of proposed and candidate species for listing under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) be advanced at a faster rate.  The current rate of listing of species under the ESA is the slowest in history.  Many species are in great need of protection that on the ESA can provide.

The ESA has saved several species from extinction.  However, 24 species have gone extinct while awaiting protection under the ESA.  Do not let another species go extinct without protection.  We cannot afford to lose another species to extinction and it is our responsibility to protect and preserve life on Earth.

Please consider the listing of ESA candidate species and accelerate the review process.  Thank you for your consideration.
