I want to put a ban though not really a banned but just to recognize the word to be more recongized as hate speech when used . words such as tranny(i hate using the word but i have to) because it is a derogatory word towards transgendered people. and iam sick of it being used by the mainstream media as a joke that is not funny and iam sick of the adult entertainment business using it as way to describe transgendered people ...also the word shemale aswell...
I dont think this is freedom of expression because it is saying discriminating things of transwomen and transmen but mostly transwomen such as myself ....
This is not just about the adult biz because its so much more than that.Its about how the world views trans people and it seems like the only information people get their info from about trans people is from adult videos/sex industry, and its not the truth and trans people such as myself get called derogatory names(tranny,shemale) that r just like the n of black/african Americans...And most in the trans community do not like the word that mostly the porn industry has created and mainstream media is using to describe trans people. and transgenred rights are already very bleak and these words are saying trans people are not genuine or some kind of freak of natures or something...
I guess all im trying to say is, i want to petition that i want people to understand and stop describing trans people as that and recognize that this is a bad word towards trans people, thats all ,cus i cant stop people from saying it but atleast it can be recognize as a disgraceful word /hate speech lanauge of some kind, towards trans people/trans community thanks....
