remove time limits for abused kids incarcerated in Fl

Today, there are over 200 men coming forward revealing how they were physically, mentally and sexually abused while incarcerated in Florida's Boys School, dating back over 50 years. A classaction lawsuit is currently in place in Pinellas County fl regarding this childhood brutality and possible death to many kids who was never seen or heared from again. This matter has been reported by various news media like Cnn.,Jax. Times;Tampa Tribune etc." I am concerned about florida law limiting a childs time frame to file an action against its abusers. Being a young boy or girl, who does not have the mental capacity or smarts to realize they were being taking advantage of,and didnot know that they had a right to report to an higher authority their treatment for lack of knowledge and or fear of retaliation or unbelief by society or law enforcement. The State of Florida Laws is out -dated,it does not give enough time nor protection to its children who was or has been crime-victim while in the care of the State of Florida Juvenile Systems. This question arises:"When do a young child come to realization or mental awareness, that they were violated by their caregivers, and they understands the law statues requires them to file on this action in a specific time-frame? Where would this child get this kind of knowledge of law? These questions and issures should be reviewed and reconsidered by those in the Civil Rights and Law-making area. I humble pray and ask each of you to join in this fight for justice for our future generation of children.Thank you.
