RHD
I am not supporting the RHD change. I am really against it.
But, I have a question to your newspaper. Is the media coverage of all Samoan newspaper, radio news, and television reaching out to all parts of Upolu, Savai%u2019i, Apolima, Manono and American Samoa?
I believe that communications of any kind should be reached and be understood by every single Samoan on the island and abroad. I also feel that the communications should both be in Samoan and the English Language.
Our Samoan language is very important to the majority of our Samoan parents, grandparents, great-grandparents the elderly, and especially the non-English speaking Samoans.
Each Samoan has the right to stand up and have a say to this RHD change issue. This change is affecting everyone and every generation in future. This change has already painfully touched most Samoans then, now and years to come.
It is not so much about the change. It is how the Prime Minister and His Cabinet passed it into law without giving the people of Samoa a say. Communication is very important here and the Prime Minister has failed to do that. He doesn%u2019t give a damn about Samoa as a country. He only cares about himself and his reputation. Not from the majority of the Samoan people but of a select few whom the Prime Minister is trying to impress.
The Prime Minister was voted for and elected by the majority of the Samoans.
Maybe it is time for a change of power.I feel that the Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sa%u2019ilele Malielegaoi should resign or step down. This is not the kind of Prime Minister that I would want to lead Samoa and its people.
A Prime Minister must be fair, nonbiased and must listen to what people want.
