SALARIES AND STATUS FOR MOTHERS AND CARERS

Mothers around the world have no status and no salaries, they often cannot go out to work as they have the full care of children and no means to pay carers or creches.
This Campaign aims at proposing Salaries and Status for all mothers and carers of children and the elderly.
A simple salary recognising just 50 of the 168 hours of care a week, would give so many mothers the means to rear their children without suffering poverty and lack of recongition. All mothers deserve this recognition and all children deserve a protected and nurturing childhood.

ps %uFFFDSome dads recently enquired if they were included ...and of COURSE they are. Each family will be offered a salary for the daytime care of children or elderly. The campaign is mostly to ensure that where there is only one parent or one carer doing the full 24/7 care, %uFFFDthat there IS a salary coming in to support that parent and children ...but where there are two parents it is still important that the person %uFFFDwho gives up a career to care for children IS seen as employed, remunerated and as having status.
