Save womens shelter program
The NC Governors Commission has witheld funding to our five county women shelter program for five months based on their own miscalculation of state match funds. Our pointing out their error has created an enviroment of retailation form the governors representatives David Jones and Barry Bryant and they are soliticing ways to close this 28 year old women and childrens program down even though we serve to the poorest, most at risk women and children.
Please call NC Governor Mike Easley, 1(919) 733-4240 and demand that he restore funds to this most needy program. Options.
