Say No to Inbev: Support Local Breweries
With Inbevs acquisition of the last big American Brewer, Anheuser-Busch, American Companies no longer have a dominent presence in the Beer market, a market that has a rich deep history in America. This acquisition will take profits from the US and send them back over to Europe, something that just doesn't sit well with those of us who have long been fans of the 7th generation lager, that has come to represent tradion and responsible envrionmental policies.
I and all friends of American Breweries ask that you sign this petition that will be forewarded to Anheuser-Buschs board of directors telling them that with this move they have lost your support. Let Inbev Know that next time you reach for a cold frosty beer on a hot day their pockets won't be getting any fatter.
I also ask that you make supporting your local brewery a priority next time you decide to party. Local brewers often offer a great alternative to comercialized beers with seasonal brews and fresh takes on old favorites. Local brewers almost always are redistributing profits back into the local economy.
Together we can help diversify, reshape, and rebuild Americas brewing history.
