Tuition rates have skyrocketed in the last couple of years despite the hard economic times that Americans are going through. Increased tuition rates is making higher education out of reach for many people. Private 4-year schools rose their tuition rate 4%, while public 4-year schools rose tuition rates 6% (cnn.com)
