A large human tragedy is underway on the roof of the world. With the opening of the Olympic games in Beijing, Tibetans and many Chinese people who until now have not been given the world attention that they deserve see this as their best chance to bring the Human rights abuses being committed by the Chinese government to the forefront of world affairs.
This is the time when Tibet needs our support and solidarity. YETI is a film made by non-profit collaborative of young people from around the world, pooling our various resources from different backgrounds. YETI is an effort to bring the story of Tibetan freedom struggle to rest of the world. YETI is releasing online on Aug. 8th with the intention of spreading awareness about what is happening in Tibet to student communities worldwide.
