I am petitioning to reinstate the practice of the Pledge of Allegience in all school systems. It is sad how little regard we give to our forefathers, the ones who fought and bled for us. What do we teach our children? Do we thank our fore fathers or even acknowledge what they did for the American people? No, instead we ban the praise given to those soldiers who made our freedom possible, by banning the Pledge of Allegience which we should be saying with pride and a head held high. It is really sad what we teach our children. We teach greed, lust, deception and malice over love, respect and thanksgiving. If our fore fathers looked down on us right now, they would choke in there grave at the little we do for the price they paid. Our country is founded under God. Our fore fathers knew this. What once was a nation of good moral truths and virtue has turned into the love of the almighty dollar. I believe that if we reinstate the Pledge of Allegience and teach our children this freedom of speech, who are the generations of the future, then this truly can be One nation under God with Liberty and Justice for all.
