Westjet - Hamilton, ON to Bermuda service

Air Canada presently holds a monopoly on direct flights between Canada and Bermuda.  The result is that lack of competition keeps direct airfares high (particularly at peak travel times), and limits travellers scheduling options.  Additionally, for travellers going to or from the Niagara Penninsula or parts of Southwestern Ontario, the congestion of Pearson airport and the surrounding highways is a huge negative in the travel experience.

Westjet has a history of promoting competition in its markets and a reputation for value.  We would like to see Wetjet commence filghts to Bermuda from its hub at Hamilton airport to provide an alternative to Air Canada including alternate departure/arrival point for travellers between Bermuda and Southern Ontario and Western Canada.
