Support our Lake Mills Student Athletes

We, the Community Members of the Lake Mills School District, petition the Lake Mills School Board to repair the athletic facilities at both Campus Field and the High School.  These repairs consist of:

1) Replacing the press box at Campus Field
2) Replacing the current concession stand and inoperable restrooms with a new stand and ADA accessible restrooms, which include proper sewer and water service at Campus Field
3) Construct ADA accessible restrooms, storage and concession stand with proper sewer and water service at the High School fields

Middle School and High School sports are VITAL to the social aspect of a student.  They are also CRUCIAL in keeping students out of gangs, away from drugs and off the streets.  Sports also help students maintain and/or raise their grades. 

The current athletic facilities are grossly substandard and inadequate, are not ADA accessible and do not fully support our student athletes.  This petition is to improve the athletic facilities to give our Lake Mills student athletes a sense of pride and to let them know that we as Lake Mills Community Members support them.
