I went to the Avalon school of massage from 2015 to 2016 where I graduated and later on I got my license. When I got married I moved to Maryland in 2016, I tried to look into the requirements that govern the state. To be able to practice my job, I went back to Houston tx and I transferred my school credit from Avalon to Phoenix. At Phoenix school of massage I was able to fulfill the education requirements by going for 100 more hours since the state of Maryland required 600 while the state of Houston tx only required 100. Now that I sent my application, I have been informed that Avalon school of massage does not have any regional or national accreditation.
For this raison I'm requesting to waive the accreditation requirement to allow me to practice the job I always love.
