We the undersigned believe that V101.1 R&B and Old School Radio Station, Sacramento Calif have been cold calculating and indecent regarding the removal of the Lee and Andrea Show. Lee Perkins is not just our local disc jockey but a good friend to thousands of listeners whom have played on air games shown up at concerts or became part of charitable drives. Andrea Gomez has been that extra spice of life that added the flavor to the Lee and Andrea Show and she too has earned a spot next to Lee after his ten years with this station. These people are not just airtime personalities but have become personal friends with hundreds in the Northern Calif area. Our group is refusing to listen to V101.1 R&B and old school until such time Lee and Andrea are reinstated with a bonus or raise for the bad way they have been ttreated and for allowing them to lose their household income weeks before Christmas. We find Clear Channel to have committed an appauling and dispicable act against their own employees just to save a buck. Many of us have devoted a decade to being loyal to the station bu,t it is Lee and Andrea we are loyal to NOT V101.1 Radio. Furthermore We will start a letter writing campaign to any sponsors of V101.1 telling of our concerns about whom they do business with in the Northern California Area. You are now off the air for many and we encourage everyone we know to write to the following to start off.
