Help a grandma keep her grandaughter safe

I have my granddaughter she has been with me since July of this year, she came to me do to domestic violence. Now the biological father whom has never really been a part of her life wants and believes he can care and raise this child. The child wants nothing to do with the father by her own choice stating that the father has never been a real or good father. She has recently been diagnosed with PTSD and ADHD and when she found out the father was coming to court and wants to see her she broke done in panic scream she doesn't want to be around him. This breaks my heart as a grandma, my daughter was in a bad situation but finally having enough she left and is getting the help she needs and doing what she needs to get her daughter back, she is not perfect but she is trying. The father has not paid child support nor done anything to support or up lift the child yet claims her on his taxes like he actually takes care of her, he was also involved with domestic violence which the child remembers clearly.
