Please help the return of Brennen and Ava Hartwell to their father.

After making some bad choices Robert Hartwell tried to do what was in the best interest of his children by giving temporary physical custody to someone who agreed to care for them while he payed for his crimes.
During Mr. Hartwell's incarceration he took a fatherhood program to help him upon his release to raise his two children Brennen and Ava as a single father as his wife passed away prior to his troubles. While incarcerated Mr. Hartwell stayed active by visiting with his children, writing and calling them until their caretaker made the decision to keep them away from their father, not allowing him to call and lying to them, friends and family about why he was no longer calling or writing.
Since Mr. Hartwell's release he has not been allowed to see his children with the exception of the day after Christmas when he was allowed 2 hours with them which was used as an opportunity by the children's caretaker to make up more lies to try and prove the children should stay with her. The visit went fantastic and The Hartwell's had a great time with lots of hugs but when it came time to go back to the caretaker Brennen cried and wanted to stay with his father. This was turned around to look like Mr. Hartwell caused the situation somehow.
Mr. Hartwell has always been a kind, loving, and very attentive father. He is Brennen and Ava's biological father but he is their DADDY and they want to be reunited so they can get on with their lives. Mr. Hartwell has family support as well as friends who will be there to help him along and we support this reunion not because it is lawful but because we know Mr. Hartwell loves his children and that they love their Dad and they belong together.

Mr Hartwell has a court date on February 7, 2018 at 11:00am at the Montgomery County Family Courthouse in Fonda, NY. and we respectfully request that the law be followed and that Brennen and Ava be reunited with their father as soon as possible as it is in the best interest of all concerned as a family who have already lost so much.
