We the undersigned have watched you slash the baby bonus and public spending. We've seen the pay increase federal MPs have been awarded, and we believe that there are better uses for our national budget.
At a time when many Australians are having trouble providing for ourselves and our families, we disapprove of the extra money which is to be spend on politician's budgets. We also disapprove of the fact that this measure was not debated in parliament.
We do not want to see you paid an extra $90,000 a year, or Tony Abbott an extra $74,000, while that money could be better spent on programs to benefit the Australian people. Please consider overturning this pay increase.
