Petition to allow Swimming on North Side of Cummings Beach

This petition is to allow swimming on the North Side of Cummings Beach.  Currently, it is reserved for windsurfers. 

We, the undersigned, hereby petition the City of Stamford to:

1.  Open the larger NORTH side of Cummings beach to ALLOW SWIMMING and to provide a lifeguard.  (Currently, it is reserved for WINDSURFING ONLY.  There is NO SWIMMING allowed.)

2.  Provide an on-duty police officer from the hours of 9-5 PM on the weekends - where swimming is allowed on the smaller South side of the beach.

We the undersigned residents of Stamford, Connecticut are hereby petitioning the City of Stamford to:
