Please sign this petition now, and share it with others. What TrIpAdvisor is doing not only hurts the Beauport Inn's business -- it also misleads people, and is irresponsible and inconsiderate.
TripAdvisor recently changed the listing location of the Beauport Inn Bed & Breakfast from Ogunquit to York. I find this unacceptable.
A visitor to York would not, by any stretch of the imagination, consider the Beauport Inn part of the York lodging community. A map clearly shows that.
While it may be technically correct to list the Beauport Inn as York since it is just over the line from Ogunquit, it is irresponsible for TripAdvisor to continue listing the Beauport Inn as a York Bed & Breakfast since it is so far from that area and considered part of the Ogunquit lodging community.
People expect TripAdvisor to be an reliable source of lodging information -- not misled due to technicalities. Change the Beauport Inn's listing location back to Ogunquit. That's where it belongs.
