Dear Evansville Community,
There is no surprise of the outrage we are seeing over the current energy supplier in Evansville. How often do we receive mailings from this company about how to manage and keep our energy costs down? Do you know someone has to pay for that(US)? We know how to lower our energy costs, but does our supplier?
There has been ongoing chatter about this and we need to all come together as a community. Let's also keep in mind that next year is an election year. Maybe, just maybe one of our city officials will take action. We first need everyone to sign this petition, share this verbally and throughout the social media channels. One voice will not get it, 100 will not either. We need tens of thousand of existing energy customers to be aware of this initiative. Where is the accountability, and who justifies our energy costs? WE MUST HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE, and not solutions on how we can better our energy usage. If you are like me, I only use electric as needed, and specifically, you will only find lights on if someone is in the room. Do my bills still rise? YES!
I don't know what the details are that go into the decisions of our energy or if this is even something that the city can support, but it's TIME TO BRING THE HEAT to the HEATERS. Help us make an impact today for a better tomorrow!
