Don't name my nephew after a dog or a Tank Engine

A name defines a huge part of who you are. Please join me in petitioning my sister and her husband to NOT name my unborn nephew after Thomas The Tank Engine and Ben, the name of her dog. The dog didn't seem to even really like her. It preferred our Dad instead. Not to mention the fact that "Thomas Ben" lacks any imagination, dooming the child to a life of mediocrity.

It's time to take a stand against unnecessarily dull names. Together, we can add the magic back by using more than one syllable to name each other.
