Assisted Suicide

Assisted suicide is the first step toward euthanasia. How soon before we become a society that puts people to death because they are a financial or emotional burden. It's a terrible tragedy and we need legislation to protect the sick and vulnerable. I believe we need better support for the sick and dying so they no longer live in fear of pain or deteriorating. There is great beauty in supporting the sick and dying to their natural end. Through this process people become closer, can express their love deeply, and old wounds will heal. Everyone involved with that person will come to accept that persons finally days peacefully. Please take action - it is time to speak loudly and clearly!
